The condition of the park would warrant at least an 8 except that a previous reviewer was correct - Wi-Fi is absolutely useless. We connected via our own modem to a Blackberry, boosted by an amplifier and external antenna. This park is about nine miles south of Traverse City and the lake.

Another great deal. We extended our stay to six nights. Sites are all asphalt. There are sandy pet walks that people kept very clean but very few shady sites. This place is very close to the Downtown Transportation Center where you can get any number of city buses, including the Deuce, a Strip-only double decker. It is also close to the Freemont Street Experience. The staff was friendly. The nearby highway noise did not bother us at all. We were too exhausted to be kept awake. The fire station holds back on the sirens at night and we never were awakened.

What a deal! Rate is $20 but if you eat in the restaurant, it's $7. The food is not bad and the restaurant is really neat. We did get wi-fi, not very strong as we were the farthest site from the office. I had to run the coach up on 2" boards on the right side to be level. Power was good; staff was very friendly. There appear to be many seasonals. Will be glad to stop back again.

Campground is overpriced in that internet is very slow and cable TV did not work on our site or neighbor's. Sites are gravel, almost level and spacious, no shade. Access to site was good. Laundry was satisfactory and 50-amp power is good.

Friendly staff, clean park and sites right next to Spring Branch post office. This is an Escapee park now and they take Good Sam, etc. discounts. Good laundry if a bit small. Cable TV not available. Very good, free Wi-Fi. Accessible to hill country and San Antonio.

This is a nice municipal park with nature trails, bird feeding station and good golf course. While the daily rate is $20, it is $250 a month with all amenities included! It is a bargain at the daily rate, but the monthly rate makes this place a steal. Many sites are under pecan trees. It is pretty windy many days and nights and is next to the town airport. There are no night flights and most of the planes are little. We would try to get back here again.
